Deep Cleaning Guide with Recipes for Natural Household Cleaners
You can deep clean the house this weekend and start the next week in a clean, fresh-smelling house. We have even included quick and easy recipes for natural household cleaners.
Glass Cleaner
1 1/2 cup vinegar
1 1/2 cup water
5 drops of lemon essential oil
5 drops of tea tree essential oil
Add to a spray bottle and use to clean glass surfaces like windows, stovetops, mirrors, etc.
Floor Cleaner
2 cups vinegar
1 cup baking soda
4 liters hot water
2 tablespoon borax
2 tablespoon washing soda
30 drops of NIUXYS Immuno essential oil synergy (or essential oil of your choice)
Mix in a bucket and use to mop floors.
Furniture cleaning and Polishing Spray
4 teaspoons olive oil
1 teaspoon orange essential oil
½ cup vinegar
3 ½ cups water
Spray on furniture and buff with a microfiber cloth.
Drain Cleaner
1 cup baking soda
10 drops lemon essential oil
½ cup vinegar
Mix lemon essential oil with baking soda and add to the drain. Pour vinegar in it, plug and wash down with hot water after 30 minutes. This will not only clean your drains, but it will also drive away bad odors and make the sinks smell fresh.
Bathroom Cleaner
1 ½ cups baking soda
10 drops lemon essential oil
6 tablespoons salt
6 tablespoons liquid dishwashing soap
1 cup vinegar
20 drops NIUXYS Purity essential oil Synergy (or tea tree essential oil)
Mix all the ingredients together and use the paste to clean sinks and bathtubs. Clean with a cloth and rinse.
Appliance Cleaner
1/3 – 1/2 cup olive oil
2-3 drops of NIUXYS Fresh Synergy
Mix ingredients together thoroughly. Add a little amount to a soft cloth, preferably microfiber, and clean your steel appliance. Use small circular motions to remove dirt, stains, fingerprints, etc.
All-Purpose Disinfectant Spray (Thieves Oil Spray)
15 drops of NIUXYS Immuno which contains 100% Pure Clove Bud, Lemon, Cinnamon Bark, Eucalyptus, Rosemary, and Tea Tree Essential Oils
1 teaspoon NIUXYS Witch Hazel
2 ounces of distilled water
Add the ingredients to a spray bottle and shake thoroughly to mix. This all-purpose disinfecting spray helps eliminate disease-carrying pathogens. You can use it on cutting boards, countertops and surfaces, clean children’s toys, clean inside of a refrigerator, and much more!
Room Freshener and Linen Spray
6 drops eucalyptus essential oil
5 drops lavender essential oil
5 drops orange essential oil
2 drops tea tree essential oil
3 ounces of water or 1.5 ounces of water and 1.5 ounces of vodka
Add all ingredients to a spray bottle. Shake well and spray in the corners that smell musty or stuffy, and need freshening up. The vodka will help keep the fragrance last longer.
