- At Niuxys, we offer two types of Lavender (Lavandula Angustifolia and Lavandula officinalis) grown in three different regions (Bulgaria, South Africa and France) .All varieties of Lavender share slightly similar properties and therapeutic functions, but the difference is in the growing conditions and the regions they came from. All varieties of Lavender that we carry will smell slightly different from each other as well as have different constituents. This is due to a slight variance in chemical make up brought on by the different growing conditions.

WAYS TO USE
- Classic Relaxation: Lavender is the most popularly used oil for relaxing! French Lavender is fantastic for use to gently lull you to sleep. Just diffuse 3-4 drops in your diffuser the hour before bed.
- Gentle on Skin: French Lavender is great for skin health. Add a few drops to your hand cream to boost skin soothing for dry and cracked hands.
- Fresh Laundry: For fresh smelling clothes, add a few drops of French Lavender essential oil to wool dryers balls and toss them in the dryer with the laundry. It also makes a great linen spray to refresh those items left in the cupboard all winter!
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
- Topical use: Apply one to two drops to desired area. Dilute with a carrier oil (e.g., coconut) to minimize any skin sensitivity.
- Diffusion: Use three to four drops in the diffuser of your choice.
- Internal: Take internally with a veggie capsule or in 4oz drink of your choice with an emulsifier like honey.*

Product Abstract: The Lavender plant is a woody evergreen shrub, up to 1 meter tall, with pale green, narrow linear leaves and violet-blue flowers. The entire plant is covered with oil glands, which are in the star-shaped hairs that cover the plant. Lavender has been used since ancient times, and the Romans added lavender to their bath water, hence the name from the Latin lavare, 'to wash'. Differences in soil, altitude and temperature, precipitation, and seasons contribute to subtle changes in the scent from one lot of Lavender to another.
