At Niuxys, we offer two types of Lavender (Lavandula Angustifolia and Lavandula officinalis) grown in three different regions (Bulgaria, South Africa and France) . All varieties of Lavender share slightly similar properties and therapeutic functions, but the difference is in the growing conditions and the regions they came from. All varieties of Lavender that we carry will smell slightly different from each other as well as have different constituents. This is due to a slight variance in chemical make up brought on by the different growing conditions.
- Promotes Sleep: Add a few drops of lavender essential oil to your diffuser just before going to bed to calm and relax the body and mind and enhance sleep quality.
- Soothes Burns, Sunburns, and Cuts: Lavender has been shown to be highly soothing to skin cuts and irritations. Mix 20 drops of Lavender oil with 1/4 cup NIUXYS fractionated coconut oil and apply it to the areas of concern twice daily.
- Helps Relieve Anxiety and Stress: Lavender can bring feelings of peace and relaxation. Inhale lavender oil right out of the bottle to immediately relax and calm the mind. You can also rub some oil into your palms and cup them over your face and take long breaths. You can keep a bottle on your desk at work and use as needed.
- Naturally Improve Laundry: Wool dryer balls are a great way to naturally fluff fabric, lessen drying time and reduce static. Naturally deodorizing, and make your laundry smell great by adding a drop of lavender oil to each ball before popping it in the dryer.

- Combats High Blood Pressure: Diffuse lavender oil beside you during your workday to help soothe stressed behaviors and promote healthy blood pressure.
- Promote Hair Growth: Mix 1 drop of lavender oil in your shampoo every time you take a shower to serve as a natural anti-bacterial and keep your hair and scalp clean. Lavender oil also helps to stimulate blood circulation to the hair follicles, promoting hair growth.
- Helps Relieve Headaches and Migraines: For relief from headache pain inhale lavender oil for 15 minutes. You can also mix 2 drops of lavender oil with 2 drops of peppermint oil and apply directly to the back of your neck and temples
- Encourage Healthy Skin: lavender oil can be applied directly on the skin or mixed with coconut oil for those with sensitivities. Mixing lavender oil with equal parts frankincense oil will help boost skin health
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
- Topical use: Apply one to two drops to desired area. Dilute with a carrier oil (e.g., coconut) to minimize any skin sensitivity.
- Diffusion: Use three to four drops in the diffuser of your choice.
- Internal: Take internally with a veggie capsule or in 4oz drink of your choice with an emulsifier like honey.*

Aromatic Summary / Note / Strength of Aroma: A top note of strong aroma, Lavender (Bulgaria) has a rich floral scent that is somewhat fruitier, mellower and less camphoraceous than Lavender 40/42, and smells more like fresh lavender.
Blends With: Bay, Bergamot, Chamomile, Clary Sage, Geranium, Jasmine, Lemon, Mandarin, Orange, Palmarosa, Patchouli, Pine, Thyme, Rosemary, Rosewood and Ylang-ylang.
Product Abstract: The Lavender plant is a woody evergreen shrub, up to 1 meter tall, with pale green, narrow linear leaves and violet blue flowers. The entire plant is covered with oil glands, which are in the star shaped hairs that cover the plant. Lavender has been used since ancient times, and the Romans added lavender to their bath water, hence the name from the Latin lavare, 'to wash'. Differences in soil, altitude and temperature, precipitation and seasons contribute to subtle changes in the scent from one lot of Lavender to another.
